WELCOME TO IRANLOYE SOFIU TAIYE BLOG

It was a rare privilege for me to be nominated, appointed and served  as the Editor-in-Cheif of the maiden edition of the magazine titled 'INSIGHT OF THE SOCIETY' a publication of the National Association of Kwara State Student Nasarawa State University Keffi Chapter, published December, 2022.  I returned all honor and glory to Almighty God who made this project a reality. Though the task was really challenging, motivating, innovative and interesting and with determination the magazine is now published. And i wrote 👇 " FROM THE EDITORIAL DESK. Gone are the days when most people in our society were contented with little they have were few people possessed wealth and opulence, and a time when we sleep with our two eyes closed when we generally live in a communal state characterized by collectivism. Then we are our brother's keeper; when travelers are safe to journey in the night without any form of security threats, a time when meritocracy prevails over mediocrity, a period when criminals are not sympathized with, and when elderly people were highly respected and venerated.  The situation is quite catastrophic currently with the substitution of collectivism with individualism. We are now dwelling in a society where everyone minds his business with no form of a collective check on the excesses of our people especially when it comes to criminal actions. I can vividly recall when we were juveniles generally few people had; cars, televisions, fridges, and generators children had fewer clothes bought during the fest...

 Strategic planning is tantamount to success anywhere anytime. No significant success will be recorded where strategy is lacking. Mapping out the best techniques with strategic calculus of your vigor and frailty, when to pause, advance or retreat is crucial to fulfillment of any goal. No doubt, without strategy you will definitely not go far.  Take a survey of all successful politicians commonly they are strategists and game planners. Politicians invariably ensure they equip themselves with every necessary weapon; tactics and resources to accomplish their ambition at all cost since they've realized that politics is a game of who get 'what, when and how'. In fact be smart enough to know that both Messi and C. Ronaldo became the football icon today not because they are best but because they are always strategic when to dribble, shoot or scores goal on the soccer pitch.  Significance of communication with leaders. It's fascinating having conversation with people who have accomplished greatly in their life and career, though the engagement is always worthy and herculean often. I seldom have opportunity to communicate with people of high echelons owing to their assiduous schedule. But each time i meet one i ensure full utilization of such opportunity to communicate with them. Realistically, smooth conversation and  audience with leaders can only materialize if you are organized and prepared with interesting discussions. The prize of this engagement are numerous and memorable; it's a golden circumstance to learn from successful, expert, professional and experienced people in your career.  2022 O.S.U NHQT  SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM THE 2022 OFFA STUDENT'S UNION NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS ANNUAL SUMMER SCHOOL ENDED WITH ANOTHER MEDAL ON MY SHELF WITH CERTIFICATES OF EXCELLENCE AS THE GENERAL SECRETARY.
