I DECLEAR TO CONTEST FOR FEYOSA PRESIDENT

DECLARATION TO CONTEST FOR THE POSITION OF THE PRESIDENT OF FEDERATION OF YORUBA STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (FEYOSA), NASARAWA STATE UNIVERSITY CHAPTER  BY COMRADE IRANLOYE SOFIU TAIYE.

Greatest Nigerian student !

Special greetings to my fellow Yoruba student in the spirit of togetherness. 

"Anyone who fail to partake in politics is doomed to rule by his inferior" Socrates.

I am comrade IRANLOYE SOFIU TAIYE a 300 level student of Social Sciences Faculty, from the  Department of Political Science, I'm indigenous to Offa Local Government of Kwara State. Currently contesting for the position of President of the Federation of Yoruba Students Association, Nasarawa State University Chapter.

WHY I AM CONTESTING FOR PRESIDENT.

My dream to contest for this position of the FEYOSA President at the apex level of the Yoruba student associations in NSUK was triggered and gingered by my thirsty to offer myself to the Yoruba students to serve and contribute my quota towards emancipating the Feyosaite toward better welfarism and studentship devoid of parochial ,lilliputian and myopic rationale.  

OBJECTIVE I SEEK TO ACTUALIZE IF ELECTED

In the pragmatic population of David Easton, he said  "politics is the authoritative allocation of scarce  values and resources in the society" 

Crediting this Eastonian population, it is crystal clear if not glaring that, the development of all association is hanged on their leadership. If our affairs and resources were not secure and steadily managed then nothing meaningful will be accomplished. Hence the canoe of our association should be paddle by an expatriate to sail and navigate through the valley technically. 

However, I deem it fit to contest for this office specifically; to catalyze the potentials of our dear member through consolidation and synergy.  

What i own Feyosite if elected as President;

1.) To ensure that all our policies and programs are targeted at safeguarding the interest of all Yoruba students and to stimulate Yoruba cultural heritage on the campus 

2.) To romanticize with critical and relevant stakeholders towards guaranteeing the welfarism of our members, because our well-being is very paramount 

3.) To periodically organize public lectures, symposium, leadership and mentorship training, and debate to expose our members to the nitty-gritty of self development and to prepare them ahead of after school challenge 

4.) To ensure our members have access to first hand experience and information about our culture, history and explore the natural and traditional sites across Yoruba land. Through tour, hiking and excursion to Palace, museums, water fall and game reserve. 

5.) To partner with relevant institutions and NGOs to train our students on skills acquisition to spice up our living through entrepreneurship. 

6.) To step up our social and sporting activities on campus to entertain ourselves and promote the awareness of this association.

7.) If elected as the President there will be; transparency, accountability, equity with beneficial services delivery. 

Fellow Feyosaite, I have served at several capacities prior to this moment with reputable, excellent and recomendable results which include;

A) President National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS NSUK Chapter)

B) General Secretary  (NAKSS NSUK Chapter)

C) Sentor Representing the (NAKSS NSUK at the  National Headquarters)

D) Member of the Electoral Committee (ELCOM) during the last FEYOSA transition.

And currently serving as the Chairman Acton Plan Implementation Committee for (NAKSS).

Hence all this antecedents have subjected me to the processs of metamorphosis which made me accustomed with the rigors of leadership and have prepared me for the tasks ahead. 

Thus, all experience garnered during my sojurn of followership and leadership and as a student of Political Science  will be incorporated, utilize and leaverage upon to ensure i deliver wonderfully and even beyond your expectation, devoid of any form of intimidation, fair and threat from anyone.

My distinguish members,  as a social scientist who knows the significance of unity and synergy, I will ensure an  harmonious relationship and peaceful working environment with other executives within the precinct of the constitution to enable swift intervention of FEYOSA when the need arises to vehemently deliver our promises. 

Nevertheless, There will be no room for any form of acts calculated to be corruption either misuse, disuse or abuse of the trust given to us by the students under my watch as the President 

And I will also use all resources in my disposal to correct all the anomalies that have been institutionalized in the system that keep hindering the development of the dear association for better condition. 

The last but not the least, the office of the President will be widely open to all members for opinion, advices, questioning and criticism in accordance with the provision of the constitution to ensure an open administration and all inclusiveness

 At this premise, with all sense of humility, I comrades IRANLOYE SOFIU TAIYE humbly solicit for the support of our members from Edo, Ekiti, Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Kwara and Kogi State to vote for me as your next FEYOSA PRESIDENT in Nasarawa State University Keffi.
