I am pleased to share the Sub-National Development Index (SNDI) Report 2026, a flagship initiative of iLEAD AFRICA

The report establishes a critical benchmark that provides a data-driven assessment of development realities across local governments, rural communities, and underserved populations in Nasarawa State. More importantly, it offers evidence-based insights and practical policy recommendations to strengthen governance, accountability, and 
inclusive development.

I'm honored to have contributed to this initiative by driving the data synthesis and stakeholder insights that underpin these evidence-driven policy solutions documents. This achievement reflects the vision of iLEAD AFRICA to promote citizen-centered governance through research, innovation, advocacy, and evidence-driven policy solutions.
I deeply appreciate the collective efforts of the entire iLEAD AFRICA team, Digital Advocates, community leaders, Local Government Chairmen and Secretaries, Directors and Officers of the Nasarawa State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftain Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, Budget and Planning, and our partner whose collaboration made this milestone possible.

Kwara's False Sense of Security: How Complacency Risks a Regional Catastrophe The crackle of gunfire shattered the night calm in Patigi Local Government Area last August. For hours, residents hid in terror as militants believed to be linked to the Mahmuda terrorist faction ransacked homes and farms, leaving behind a trail of displacement and despair. This wasn't in conflict-ridden Zamfara or Borno. This was Kwara State, Nigeria's so-called "State of Harmony" now facing the brutal reality of spillover violence from neighboring conflicts.
