START SMALL. YES!

WHY YOU NEED TO START SMALL ?

The secret of getting there is getting started. Many ideas and opportunities have vanished and unutilized because of procrastination and waiting for perfect time and abundant resources before starting.

Before i proceed, note that no matter how much big a number is it always begin from one(1) and never forget that everything that have reached the apogee was once a nadir

Start small because all human beings was born as an infant then grow to suckling, toddler, child, youth before the adulthood and indeed It's the union of two people that transform from nuclear to extended family with many brothers, sister, uncle, aunt, niece and cousin.

The States, cities and metropolis with adequate social infrastructural facilities are once villages or hamlets with little or no social amenities, also all the developed and industrialized states  today pass through some stages from  underdevelop to developing and now to a developed States

Leaders, Monarchs, Politicians of today are followers yesterday. Also,  the most richest man in the world today was not the richest yesterday. Factually, the greatest footballer and athletes have engaged in sports activities on local pitch outside the stadium and was once a spectator before there worldbest awards.

Likewise, the Clerics, Professors,  Doctors and Professional was once a student and learner. All the bestselling authors  always start their books, article and writing with a sentence. In fact the Award-winning musician, skits makers and motivational speakers are once a novice. The famous and popular Schools, Eatries, Hotels, Organization and Association with branches across the globe start with a branch.

Thus, an unproccesed  idea is nothing until it metamorphose and manifest into reality.

To attain the ne plus ultra and zenith of your dream you need to start with what you have now.

Never wait until you are perfect before you start because perfection is only an attribute of God. Be open to criticisms, make mistakes now to serve as experience for you and to guide others. Don't wait to get admitted, don't wait to become a graduate or have access to millions before you start.

Remember you're not circumscribe and your future is certain if you start now.

The digital world is already the classroom for Nigeria's youth, but are our teachers and education systems equipped to guide them safely? Last week, I had the honour of representing iLEAD AFRICA at the high-level Stakeholders Dialogue on Education, convened by the Dean Initiative in Abuja on the theme: The Role of Teachers in Safeguarding Students’ Digital Exposure. This discussion is critically urgent. Nigeria now has over 148 million internet subscribers (as of late 2025, with continued rapid growth in 2026 per NCC data), and young people form a major share. Many students become digitally active well before age 13, particularly in urban centres. Yet structured guidance and safety measures are not keeping pace. Key insights from the dialogue: 1) Students are true digital natives; many teachers still lack sufficient preparation. 2) Exposure to online platforms is widespread, but digital safety and citizenship awareness remains low. 3) Schools la...

The surge in bandit attacks across Kwara State has led to numerous deaths, abductions, and widespread displacement, highlighting a severe security crisis that calls for comprehensive approaches beyond traditional military responses. As the region confronts these multifaceted threats, locally driven peacebuilding efforts—led by peace committees, traditional leaders, and NGOs—stand out as essential for achieving lasting stability. Traditional rulers serve as central figures in grassroots conflict resolution throughout Kwara and Nigeria. Their deep-rooted influence and close community connections allow them to mediate disputes, rally resources, and promote unity. They organize elder councils, settle grievances, and guide local authorities, influencing peace at the local level. Yet, their effectiveness is hampered by political meddling, lack of legal support, funding shortages, and poor coordination with official security bodies. Bolstering their legal authority and establishin...

Kwara's False Sense of Security: How Complacency Risks a Regional Catastrophe

Kwara's False Sense of Security: How Complacency Risks a Regional Catastrophe The crackle of gunfire shattered the night calm in Patigi Local Government Area last August. For hours, residents hid in terror as militants believed to be linked to the Mahmuda terrorist faction ransacked homes and farms, leaving behind a trail of displacement and despair. This wasn't in conflict-ridden Zamfara or Borno. This was Kwara State, Nigeria's so-called "State of Harmony" now facing the brutal reality of spillover violence from neighboring conflicts. For years, Kwara has basked in its reputation as an oasis of peace. While northern states battled insurgencies and northwestern states negotiated with bandits, Kwara's security strategy largely involved resting on these laurels. This complacency is now our greatest vulnerability. As armed groups face increasing pressure in Nigeria's northwest and the Sahel, they are seeking new territories and routes and Kwara...
