OFFA STUDENT'S UNION ACADEMIC COMPETITION 2022

OFFA STUDENT'S UNION NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS, 2022 CAREER TALK, QUIZ, DEBATE AND SPELLING BEE COMPETITION FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL IN OFFA KWARA STATE, HELD ON 4TH - 8TH APRIL 2023, AT OFFA GRAMMAR SCHOOL AUDITORIUM AS GO DOWN THE MEMORY LANE. 

It was a fulfilled week for me both academically and socially. 

I was appointed as the Cheif Judge over a well selected clique (panelists) of intellectual personalities at  the just concluded 2022 Quiz, Debate and Spelling Bee Competition, organized by Offa Student's Union National Headquarter (OSU/NHQ).  



The event was well a packaged program, to instill the reading culture among the students, also to compliment the government effort to deliver quality education to the indigenous student in Kwara State. However, the August event also serve as a medium to enlighten students on topical and contemporary issues across the country. 

The career talk featured orientation by resourceful, seasoned,  contemporary and excellent facilitators who educate our students on the theme "optimising  Information Communication and Technology (ICT) ". 


The quiz competition captured the three main subjects: Mathematics, English and General studies. Not only the organizers but also the spectators at auditorium was thrilled by sharp, clever and quick-witted performance of the  brilliant representatives  of the school. While the spelling bee contest have restored our confidence that our students are good to be going. Kudos to all their teachers. 

Moreover, the debate contest was intriguing with eloquence, loquacity, garrulosness, with the stage confidence b youy those who support and oppose the debating motions. It was indeed an herculean task to determine the winner amongst them. Indeed, they performed with their heart. They are all winner. 


I sincerely register my appreciation to the entire Offa Student's Union executive and specially the co-chairman of the program, Comrade Sheu Abdulmumin for given me the mandate and believing in my capacity. You're a pillar that made the event a reality, May Almighty God continue to be your strength.

To all my co-panelist your objective summations is really the icing that gave shape to the program.
